The Tampa Bay Rays saw their five-game win streak end last night, with a 3-2 loss to the Kansas City Royals.

The Rays led 1-0 after two, thanks to an Evan Longoria home run. Kansas City tied it with a run in the seventh, then scored two in the ninth. Tampa Bay got one back in the ninth, but could get no closer.

Jeff Niemann got a no decision, despite allowing just one run in 7 1/3 innings. Randy Choate was tagged with the loss.

The Rays, now 17-6, lead the Yankees by 1 1/2 games in the A.L. East. They host Kansas City tonight at 6:10pm EDT and Sunday at 1:40pm EDT. Both games air on 620AM WDAE.

In Friday night's Nationwide series race, Brad Keselowski pitted for tires with five laps left, and it made the difference for him in winning the Nationwide race at Richmond.
