The San Francisco Giants have won the National West, defeating the San Diego Padres today 3-0.
In the National League, the West Champs Giants will host the Central Champs Cincinnati, while Wild Card winner Atlanta travels to East Champ Philadelphia. Both series are best-of-five. The Philadelphia - Atlanta series starts Wednesday, the San Francisco - Atlanta series gets underway Thursday.
The Tampa Bay Rays won the American League East today, beating Kansas City 3-2 in 12 innings. They actually clinched earlier in the day, when the Yankees lost to Boston 8-3.
The Rays will host West Champ Texas, while Central Champ Minnesota hosts Wild Card winner New York. Both series are best-of-five and start Wednesday.
