Saskatoon Blades 9, Calgary Hitmen 3
The Blades scored 4 in the 1st and 4 more in the 3rd to rout the Hitmen before 4,963 at Scotiabank Saddledome. Eric Florchuk led the way with a hat trick, Tristen Robin had 2 goals and an assist, Majid Kaddoura, Jayden Wiens and Chase Wouters a goal and assist each, Cyle McNabb contributed a goal and Nolam Maier made 38 saves. For Calgary, Mark Kastelic scored twice, Orca Wiesblatt once, Carl Stankowski and Jack McNaughton combined for 23 saves.
