Victoria Royals 4, Kelowna Rockets 3 (SO)
Kaid Oliver scored in the second round of the shootout, yo push the Royals to the win. Gary Haden and Will Warm scored in regulation, as did Oliver, whose goal at 3:10 of the 3rd tied the game. Kelowna goals were scored by Pavel Novak, Sean Comrie and Ethan Ernst. In goal for Victoria, Brock Gould started and made 5 saves on 8 shots. He was replaced at 17:30 on the 2nd by Shane Farkas, who stopped all 16 shots he faced, then 3 more in the shootout. Attendance was 3,213 at Save-On-Foods Memorial Arena.
