Edmonton Oil Kings 3, Calgary Hitmen 2

David Kope scored at 19:05 of the 3rd period to nudge Edmonton past Calgary, before 9,482 at Scotiabank Saddledome. Jacson Alexander and Ethan Cap also scored for the Oil Kings, with Todd Scott making 38 saves.Edmonton, with 2 games in hand on Lethbridge, lead the Hurricanes by 2 points in the Central Division. For Calgary, Carson Focht and James Malm scored, Brayden Peters made 25 saves.

Red Deer Rebels 3, Regina Pats 2 (OT)

Arshdeep Bains second goal of the season 48 seconds was the difference in Red Deer's win before 5,688 at the Brandt Centre. Chase Leslie and Josh Tarzwell scored in regulation for the Rebels, Byron Fancy made 25 saves. For the Pats, Zack Smith and Austin Pratt scored, Max Paddock had 24 saves.

Vancouver Giants 5, Medicine Hat Tigers 2

3,467 at the Langley Events Centre watched as five different players scored to lead the Giants past Medicine Hat. Tristen Nielsen, Zack Ostapchuk, Dylan Plouffe, Lukas Svejkovsky and Milos Roman scored for Vancouver, goaltender Trent Miner made 33 saves. For the visiting Tigers, Nick McCarry and Trevor Longo scored goals, Mads Sogaard had 21 stops.

Kamloops Blazers 6, Portland Winterhawks 5

4 goals in the 1st and 2 more in the 3rd sent Kamloops past U.S. Division leading Portland, in front of 2,918 at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. For the Blazers, Connor Zary scored twice, Josh Pillar, Orrin Centazo, Ryan Hughes and Inaki Baragano once each. Rayce Ramsay and Dylan Garand combined for 38 saves. For the Winterhawks, Seth Jarvis scored twice, Simon Knak, Cross Hanas and Mason Mannek once each. Isaiah DiLaura and Joel Hofer teamed up to make 23 saves.

Everett Silvertips 4, Spokane Chiefs 3 (OT)

Bryce Kindopp's second goal of the night 1:23 into free hockey, propelled Everett to the road win, in front of 3,926 at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena. Kindopp's overtime winner came on a penalty shot. Jalen Price and Michal Gut also scored for the Tips, who received a 37 save performance from Dustin Wolf. On the Chiefs side of the ledgar, Adam Beckman, Michael King and Eli Zummack scored goals, Likas Parik made 21 saves.
