Tampa, FL. -- Former NFL kicker Lawrence Tynes has filed a lawsuit against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for alleged unsanitary conditions that led to a MRSA infection in 2013 he said ended his career, NFL Network reported Monday. The report said Tynes seeks $20 million in lost future earnings in addition to $15 in damages.

Indianapolis, IN. -- Oregon State, ranked 12th in the nation, will compete in the evening session of the 2015 National Collegiate Women’s Gymnastics Championships semifinals the NCAA announced Monday. The championships, hosted by Texas Women’s University and Knight Eady Sports Group, will be held at the Fort Worth Convention Center Arena, April 17-19.

Gertrude Weaver, the world’s oldest person, died on Monday at the age of 116. According to staff at the Silver Oaks Health and Rehabilitation Center in Camden, Arkansas where she lived, Weaver died of complications with pneumonia.
… The title of world’s oldest person now belongs to Jeralean Talley of Michigan. According to the Gerontology Research Group, Talley is 115 years old.
