A four-run sixth inning was the difference yesterday afternoon, as the Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Cleveland Indians 6-2 in front of 17,093 at Tropicana Field.

Evan Longoria's third-inning double drove in Sean Rodriguez to open the scoring, putting the Rays up 1-0. Cleveland tied it in the fifth, as Jason Donald scored on a fielder's choice, knotting the score at 1-1. Tampa Bay then busted the game open in the sixth. B.J. Upton scored on a fielder's choice, then, with two outs, Gabe Kapler scored on a soft liner to left by Jason Bartlett, then Bartlett and Ben Zobrist scored on a triple by Longoria. The Indians got one back in the eighth as Travis Hafner doubled in Jhonny Peralta, but the Rays finished the scoring in their half of the eighth as Carlos Pena singled in Zobrist.

David Price fanned five and allowed just one unearned run for Tampa Bay to pick up the win, improving to 6-1. David Huff allowed three earned in five innings and took the loss, he's 1-6.

The Rays, now 28-11 and 3 games up on the Yankees in the A.L. East, visit New York for two games, tonight and tomorrow, with first pitch on 620AM WDAE and Sun Sports at 7:05pm EDT. Tonight's game can also be seen on ESPN, with tomorrow night's game showing on the MLB Network.

My wife Kim, also known as "The Greatest Woman in the history of Woman," starts a brand-new job today. She's been off work since November, and she's really excited for the opportunity she's been given.

Way to go dear. Jimmy, the boys and I are very proud of you!

Rut Roh Shaggy! Once again, there's too much chlorine in the gene pool, as two women are arrested for using a stun gun on a Wendy's employee after they say their order was messed up.

That's it for today. Stay legal and stay safe, okay?
