New government info shows more Americans are exercising but rates of obesity and smoking have not changed. Obesity rates were frozen last year at around 28 percent of adults compared to 2008. But 34.7 percent claimed in 2009 they engage in regular leisure physical activity, up from 31.9 percent in 2008.

Tommy Hanson allowed just three hits and struck out six in seven shutout innings and Troy Glaus drove in two runs to send the Atlanta Braves past the Tampa Bay Rays 6-2 Wednesday night, in front of 26,807 at Atlanta's Turner Field.

The Braves scored 3 in the third, with the key blows an RBI double by Brian McCann and a Glaus single that accounbted for two more runs. Eric Hinske homered in the sixth. Melky Cabrera and Martin Prado singled in runs in the eighth before the Rays got on the board in the ninth. Ben Zobrist drove home Evan Longoria with a single up the middle and then scored on Dioner Navarro's two-out double.

Wade Davis started for Tampa Bay and fanned five, but allowed three earned runs in five innings for the loss, he's now 5-7. Hanson's effort for Atlanta pushed his record to 7-3.

The Tampa Bay Rays, 41-24 and still tied for first with the Yankees in the A. L. East, play the Braves again this evening, in the finale of their three-game set in Atlanta. First pitch tonight is scheduled for 7:10pm EDT on 620AM WDAE, the Rays Radio Network and Sun Sports. The Rays visit the Marlins for three starting tomorrow, then come home for six games, three against San Diego and three against Arizona, starting next Tuesday.

There is a new world record for most bridesmaids at a wedding. Jill Stapleton from Ohio who broke the record with 110 bridesmaids. Stapleton is a teacher at a dance studio, and she asked her students to be her attendants at her wedding.

Last night was Jimmy's first time sleeping in a big boy bed. He was getting big enough to climb out of his crib, so our neighbor Molly was kind enough to give us a bed she was no longer using, so that Jimmy could move out of his crib and not hurt himself if he fell out. Our Jimmy is such a big boy now!

The Tampa Bay Rays are 41-24 and are tied for first in the A.L. East with the Yankees. Boston is 3 back, Toronto 6 and Baltimore is 23 1/2 games behind.

In the A.L. Central, Minnesota leads Detroit by 2 1/2 games, the White Sox by 7 1/2, Kansas City is 10 1/2 back and Cleveland is 12 1/2 games off the pace.

Out in the (not-so)wild A.L. West, Texas leads the Angels by 2 games, Oakland is 5 back and Seattle trails by 12 1/2.

In the N.L. East, Atlanta leads the Mets by 1/2 game, Philadelphia by 3 1/2, while Florida is 6 1/2 back and Washington is 7 behind.

In the N.L. Central, Cincinnati and St. Louis are tied for first, the Cubs are 6 1/2 behind, Milwaukee is 8 back, Houston trails by 10, and Pittsburgh is 12 1/2 behind.

The Dodgers lead the N.L. West by 1/2 game over San Diego, with San Francisco 1 behind, Colorado is 5 back and Arizona brings up the rear, 12 1/2 games out of first.
