"It feels good," Jovanovski said of his return to Florida. "The guys worked hard. It was nice to get that one early and feed off the crowd. It was a good one for us.".

Since it's Noah Webster's birthday, it's Dictionary Day Today. (According to wikipedia, a dictionary (also called a wordbook, lexicon or vocabulary) is a collection of words in one or more specific languages, often listed alphabetically, with usage information, definitions, etymologies, phonetics, pronunciations, and other information;[1] or a book of words in one language with their equivalents in another, also known as a lexicon.[1] According to Nielsen (2008) a dictionary may be regarded as a lexicographical product that is characterised by three significant features: (1) it has been prepared for one or more functions; (2) it contains data that have been selected for the purpose of fulfilling those functions; and (3) its lexicographic structures link and establish relationships between the data so that they can meet the needs of users and fulfill the functions of the dictionary.)

Corvallis, OR. -- Jordan Poyer returned an interception for touchdown and Sean Mannion passed for 306 yards but it wasn't enough to overcome BYU as the Beavers dropped a 38-28 decision to the Cougars Saturday at Reser Stadium.

Poyer picked off a Riley Nelson pass with 1:18 remaining in the first half and returned it 51 yards for his second career defensive score. It tied the game at 14 after the Cougars had gone up 14-0 to start the game.

Poyer ended the game with the interception - tying him for the Pac-12 Conference lead - and two pass breakups in addition to 171 yards on seven kick returns. His effort, however, wasn't enough to help the Beavers overcome 24 second-half points by BYU to just 14 for the Beavers.

The driver of the No. 17 Roush Fenway Racing Ford was delighted to win Saturday night's Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway with new sponsor Fluidmaster on his car -- make that with any sponsor on his car.

In a race that saw five-time defending champion Jimmie Johnson suffer a Chase-changing accident in the final 20 laps, Kenseth pulled away from Kyle Busch and teammate Carl Edwards during a 12-lap run to the finish and notched his third victory of the season and the 21st of his career.

Kenseth finished .968 seconds ahead of Busch, with Edwards coming home in third, miffed by the way Busch raced in Turn 2 as the two were contesting second place in the closing laps..
