The Tampa Bay Juniors Empire and EJHL South teams played at the Florida Eels this past Saturday, October 27th.

In the Empire game, Tampa Bay couldn't overcome a 3-1 deficit after one and lost 6-3. Jesse Bafia, Brent Barber and Roope Hintz scored for the Juniors, Kyle Gertz made 28 saves. Tampa Bay was 1 for 4 on the power play and 6 of 8 on the penalty kill.

In the EJHL South game, the Juniors grabbed the lead early on a Michael Pelletier goal but weren't able to expand on the lead and eventually lost 6-1. Nick Malvin made 28 saves for Tampa Bay. The Juniors were 0 for 4 on the power play and 1 of 3 on the penalty kill.

Coming up on Saturday and Sunday November 3rd and 4th, the Juniors are on the road once again, with the Palm Beach Hawks providing the opposition. The Empire team plays at 4:00pm EDT Saturday and 10:00am EST Sunday. The EJHL South team plays at 8:00pm EDT Saturday and 12:15pm EST on Sunday. All games can be seen live on FASTHockey dot com.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have placed guard Carl Nicks, an All-Pro last season, on injured reserve.

They also put tight end Danny Noble on IR on Tuesday and elevated guard Roger Allen to the active roster from the practice squad.

San Francisco, CA. --Several members of the newly crowned World Series champion San Francisco Giants emptied their lockers and dressing stalls Tuesday at AT&T Park, which will enable them to make a quicker getaway to their offseason homes after Wednesday's parade.

Of course, most of the Giants' 2012 season can't be stashed in a box or tossed in a garbage can. Various memories and thrills already have become entrenched in the hearts and minds of various Giants who visited the clubhouse to pack their baseball belongings.
