2014 Toyota-USA Hockey National Championships Locations Announced
Seven Cities Nationwide to Host Championships
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Locations for the 2014 Toyota-USA Hockey National Championships were announced today. The USA Hockey High School, Youth, Girls' and Women's National Championships will be held in seven cities across the country, running from late March to early April.
NOTES: The 2013 Toyota-USA Hockey National Championships will be held March 20-April 7, 2013, in San Jose, Calif., Oakland, Calif., Hartford, Conn., Coral Springs, Fla., Troy., Mich., Charlotte, N.C., Pittsburgh, Pa. and Westchester, Pa. ... A complete list of USA Hockey national champions can be found here ... Michigan holds the distinction as home of the most USA Hockey national champions, boasting 115 programs that have captured a title. Massachusetts is second with 77 champions and Illinois has 29 champions.

Star Wars and dominoes were inducted Thursday into the National Toy Hall of Fame. Both toys will join Barbie, Mr. Potato Head, marbles and the Teddy Bear in the Hall. A Toy Hall of Fame spokesman said Star Wars action figures were introduced by Kenner in the 1970s. The success of those toys spurred the industry to create more toys linked to movies, television series and comic books.
