Instead of going to camp or playing video games all day, an 11-year-old Texas boy decided to spend his summer mowing yards to raise money for the victims of the Moore, Oklahoma, tornadoes. Dyllon Orthman of Dalhart mowed 90 lawns and managed to raise $16,000 in just two months. Dyllon said, "A lot of people are saying my mom is making me, but I actually decided to mow for Moore, Oklahoma."

Mars One, which hopes to colonize Mars, has received more than 100,000 applications for a one-way trip to the Red Planet.
