John Lennon and Paul McCartney were also members. 1959 - In West Derby, Liverpool, at the Casbah Coffee Club, Ken Brown via George Harrison asked John Lennon and Paul McCartney to help out the Les Stewart Quartet when Stewart walks out before a show. The event led to regular Saturday night gig at the Casbah. On October 10th, Ken Brown went his own way. 1966 - The Beatles ended their fourth American tour at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, CA. It turned out that the show was their last public concert. 1986 - BBC1-TV aired the "McCartney" special. 2001 - Cristin Joyce Keleher was released after four months in jail.
