U.S. Under-17 and Under-18 Select Teams to Skate at Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Early August
U.S. Under-18 Select Team Practices at Kettler Capitals Iceplex Aug. 3-5
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The U.S. Under-18 Select Team will be in Arlington, Virginia, at the Kettler Capitals Iceplex for a series of practices beginning Sunday, Aug. 3, in preparation for the 2014 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup.
Each of the team’s practices will be free and open to the public.
The 2014 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup will be staged Aug. 11-16 in Breclav, Czech Republic, and Piestany, Slovakia, and features teams from Canada, the Czech Republic, Finland, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States.
The 22-player roster was picked following the USA Hockey Boys' Select 17 Player Development Camp that took place June 26-July 2 at The Northtown Center at Amherst in Williamsville, New York.
USA Hockey player development camps provide top young players with concentrated on- and off-ice training and instruction, as well as the opportunity to compete at the national level against other top players from their age group.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The U.S. Under-17 Select Team will be in Arlington, Virginia, at the Kettler Capitals Iceplex for a pair of practices Wednesday and Thursday (Aug. 6-7) to prepare for the 2014 Under-17 Five Nations Tournament.
Each of the team’s practices will be free and open to the public.
The 2014 Under-17 Five Nations Tournament is slated for Aug. 13-17 in Crimmitschau, Germany, and features teams from the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Switzerland and the United States.
The 20-man roster was selected following the USA Hockey Boys' Select 16 Player Development Camp that took place from July 7-13 at The Northtown Center at Amherst in Williamsville, New York.
USA Hockey player development camps provide top young players with concentrated on- and off-ice training and instruction, as well as the opportunity to compete at the national level against other top players from their age group.
