A Japanese restaurant in New York City has officially placed a ban on tipping and instead, its owners have opted to pay workers a salary with paid vacation and sick leave. Sushi Yasuda co-founder Scott Rosenberg said that customers tend to be very pleased when they realize they don't have to tip. In fact, customers don't even have the option of leaving a tip on their receipt.
