The Tampa Bay Juniors were in action this past weekend, hosting the Florida Eels.
On Saturday, January 17th, the Elite Juniors dropped a close game to the Eels, 1-0. Michael Krch was solid, making 24 saves in the game. Tampa Bay was 0-for-2 on the power play and 3-of-4 on the penalty kill.
Also on Saturday, the Empire Juniors played their only game of the weekend, losing to the Eels 9-1. Mason Ledbetter scored the Tampa Bay goal, Sam Coleman ans Zac Gazzanna combined to make 32 saves. The Juniors were 1-for-9 on the power play and 3-of-3 on the penlty kill.
On Sunday, January 18th, the Elite Juniors rebounded for a 2-1 win over the Eels. Trey Stern and Raven Woodring scored the Tampa Bay goals, Brandon Goudreau assisted on both goals and Michael Krch made 21 saves. The Juniors were 1-for-4 on the power play and 3-of-3 on the penalty kill.
Next weekend, the Empire Juniors play at the Palm Beach Hawks on Sunday, January 25th. Game time on Fasthockey.com is set for 3:00pm EST. The next action for the Elite Juniors is Saturday and Sunday, January 31st and February 1st at the Atlanta Junior Knights.
