Americans host Cougars tonight















The Tri-City Americans take the Toyota Center ice tonight, hosting the Prince George Cougars.

The Ams, coming off Saturday's 3-2 comeback shootout win over Calgary, enter tonight's contest with a mark of 13-9-0-0 and are led by goaltender Beck Warm, who sports a mark of 12-9, with a 3.01 goals against average, a .904 saves percentage and one shutout. Leading the team in scoring is Captain Nolan Yaremko, with 11 goals and 16 assists for 27 points and 35 penalty minutes in 22 games. Tri-City currently stands 4th in the U.S. Division with 26 points, 3 points behind third place Spokane, but in possession of the Western Conference's first Wild Card spot. Prince George sports a mark of 10-11-1-2 for 23 points, third in the B.C. Division. The Cougars are led in scoring by Vladislav Mikhalchuk, who has 4 goals and 13 assists for 17 points in 24 games. Leading goalkeeper is Isaiah DiLaura, who in 8 games has a record of 4-3-0-1, a 2.93 goals against average, a .910 saves percentage and 1 shutout. PG's last game was a 4-1 home loss to Saskatoon this past Saturday.

The Americans have two wins against Prince George this season, taking a pair of road games 5-1 October 23rd and 4-3 in a shootout October 24th.
