Ams face stern test in PA















The end of their massive 11-game road swing is in sight, but the opponents don't get any tougher than tonight, as the Tri-City Americans play game 10 away from home against the best team in the CHL, the Prince Albert Raiders.

The Raiders enter tonight's contest at the Art Hauser Center an amazing 18-1-0-0, bringing an 11-game win streak with them. Their only loss so far this season, was a 4-3 defeat at the Red Deer Rebels, back on October 6th. Prince Albert is led offensively by former Tri-City American Brett Leason, who stands second in league scoring, with 18 goals and 23 assists, for 41 points. Leason is a +31 and has 9 power play assists. Ian Scott has guarded the goal 16 times in 19 games, recording 15 wins, a 1.50 goals against average and a .946 saves percentage. PA is 9th on the power play at 23.4% and 1st on the penalty kill at 91.9%. The Americans enter tonight's game at at 12-6-0-0, 3rd in the U.S. Division. They are led by Captain Nolan Yaremko, who has 11 goals and 15 assists for 26 points in 18 games. Beck Warm has played 17 of 18 games, picking up 11 wins, a goals against average of 2.91 and a saves percentage of .905. Tri-City is 19th on the power play at 18.7% and 10th on the penalty kill at 78.4%. The two teams played each other once last season, with the Americans winning 2-0 at Toyota Center on November 14th.

The Ams finish their road swing tomorrow night in Saskatoon, returning home to face Kamloops and Calgary next Friday and Saturday.
