Tri-City Americans 3, Brandon Wheat Kings 2 (SO)
The Ams scored twice in the second period, then in the seventh round of the shootout, to grab their seventh road win of the season, before 4,286 in a Remembrance Day matinee at Westoba Place in Brandon. Stelio Mattheos's 18th goal of the season staked the Wheat Kings to a 1-0 lead after one. Tri-City would then get second period counters from Riley Sawchuk and Blake Stephenson to lead through 40, but a Brandon goal early in the third by Luka Burzan forced extra hockey. After a scoreless hockey, the teams locked horns in a shoot out duel. Isaac Johnson for the Americans and Ben McCartney for the Wheat Kings broke through in round three, but it took Connor Bouchard's seventh round goal to win it for the visitors. Beck Warm had 22 saves for Tri-City, Jiri Patera 22 for Brandon.
Red Deer Rebels 3, Swift Current Broncos 2 (OT)
Reese Johnson's goal 60 seconds into overtime won it for Red Deer, before 2,319 at Innovation Credit Union i-plex in Swift Current. Zak Smith had a goal and assist, Josh Tarzwell had a goal, Alexander Alexeyev recorded two assists and Byron Fancy made 15 saves for the Rebels. For Swift Current, Ben King and Max Patterson each had a goal and assist, Joel Hofer, who faced 35 shots in the final 40 minutes, made 44 saves.
Calgary Hitmen 7, Kootenay ICE 3
Calgary broke open a one-goal game with three late third period goals to win. Riley Stotts tallied 2 goals and an assist, Carson Focht and James Malm a goal and 3 assists each, Egor Zamula, Mark Kastelic and Tye Carriere one goal each and Kack McNaughton 29 saves for the Hitmen, who went 2-for-4 on the power play, before 6,287 at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary. For Kootenay, goals came from Brad Ginnell, Martin Bodak and Brett Davis, with Duncan McGovern stopping 37 pucks. The ICE were 2-for-8 with the man advantage.
Everett Silvertips 5, Kamloops Blazers 2
Everett kept their U.S. Division lead at three points over second place Portland with the Sunday win in Kamloops, before 3,796 at the Sandman Centre. Jackson Berezowski, Jalen Price and Connor Dewar had a goal and assist each for the Silvertips, Jake Christiansen and Wyatte Wylie also scored, Max Palaga made 26 saves. The Blazers had goals from Luc Smith and Nolan Kneen, plus 28 saves from the duo of Dylan Ferguson and Rayce Ramsay.
Portland Winterhawks 4, Kelowna Rockets 2
Joachim Blichfeld scored twice, assisted both times by Cody Glass, leading the Winterhawks to the win in front of 4,096 at Veteran's Memorial Coliseum in Portland. Mason Mannek and Reece Newkirk also scored for Portland, Shane Farkas made 29 saves. Kelowna's goal scorers were Mark Liwiski and Kyle Crosbie, Roman Basran made 37 saves.
Prince George Cougars 1, Vancouver Giants 0
A goal 8 minutes into the contest by the Cougars' Ethan Browne was the only marker on the contest played at the Langley Events Centre, coming on a Prince George power play in front of 3,124 fans. Isaiah DiLaura picked up his first shut out with 26 saves. Vancouver's David Tendeck made 31 saves. The loss ended the Giants three game win streak.
