Western Hockey League roundup for Sunday, November 25th, 2018



Everett Silvertips 5, Portland Winterhawks 3

A three-goal first period propelled Everett to the win in front of 2,408 at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland. Martin Fasko-Rudas scored an pair of first period goals for the Silvertips, Reece Vitelli added one as well. LukemOrmsby scored in the second and Connor Dewar tacked on an empty netter in the third. For the Winterhawks, Jared Freadrich scored in the first, Michal Kvasnica in the second and Joachim Blichfeld notched a power play goal in the third. Dustin Wolf had 30 saves for Everett, Shane Farkas 27 for Portland.
