Red Deer Rebels 2, Saskatoon Blades 1

Red Deer's Ethan Sakowich scored a power play goal at 9:21 of the second period, which stood up as the winner, in front of 3,334 at the Westerner Park Centrium. Arshdeep Bains scored a power play goal for the Rebels at 3:52 of the first, Saskatoon's Riley McKay tied it at 3:59 of the second. Ethan Anders of Red Deer stopped 34 of the 35 shots thrown at him, while the Blades' Nolan Maier stopped 22 of 24.
