Western Hockey League roundup for Tuesday, October 15th, 2019













Medicine Hat Tigers 3, Saskatoon Blades 1

The Tigers scored three times in the second period en route to the victory before 2,469 at Canalta Centre. Medicine Hat goals were scored by Daniel Baker, Ryan Chyzowski and Dru Krebs. Zach Huber scored a power play goal halfway through the 3rd period for the Blades' only tally of the night. In goal, Mads Sogaard made 24 saves for the Tigers, Nolan Maier had 48 stops for Saskatoon.

Lethbridge Hurricanes 6, Moose Jaw Warriors 0

Lethbridge out shot Moose Jaw 39-19 and Hurricanes goaltender Carl Tetachuk stopped all 19 pucks thrown at him in a dominant win before 2,726 at Mosaic Place. D-Jay Jerome and Alex Cotton both scored twice for Lethbridge, Noah Boyko and Justin Hall added the other markers. Moose Jaw, who has been outscored 18-5 in their three-game losing streak, got 33 saves from Jackson Berry.

Kamloops Blazers 4, Swift Current Broncos 0

Orrin Centazzo scored twice, Martin Lang and Josh Pillar once each and Rayce Ramsay made 23 saves in the Blazers win, before 3,577 at Sandman Centre. Reece Klassen had 41 saves for Swift Current.
