Western Hockey League roundup for Wednesday, October 16th, 2019













Everett Silvertips 3, Brandon Wheat Kings 2

Everett scored 3 goals in the third period, one by Cole Fonstad and two by Gage Concalves, to come from behind to edge Brandon, before 3,047 at Angel of The Winds Arena. Keegan Karki aided the win with 27 saves.  For the Wheat Kings, Cole Reinhardt and Jonny Lambos scored, Ethan Kruger made 39 saves.

Kelowna Rockets 3, Swift Current Broncos 2 (OT)

Nolan Foote scored twice, including the game-winner at 1:05 of overtime, to boost Kelowna to the win. Pavel Novak also scored for the Rockets, who got a 22 save effort from Cole Schwebius. Bronco offense came from Ben King and Brecon Wood, Isaac Poulter made 33 saves.
