Winnipeg ICE 4, Saskatoon Blades 1
Carson Lambos scored twice, Connor McClennon and Chase Hartje once each, as Winnipeg won on home ice, in front of 1,595 at Wayne Fleming Arena. Jesse Makaj made 14 saves. For Saskatoon, Biley McKay scored, while Koen Macinnes and Nolan Maier msde 20 saves.
Lethbridge Hurricanes 5, Moose Jaw Warriors 4 (OT)
After a scoreless third period left the game tied 4-4, Logan Barlage scored at 1:36 of overtime to win it for the Hurricanes, in front of 3,329 at Enmax Centre. Noah Boyko, Dino Kambeitz, Oliver Okuliar and Dylan Cozens also scored for Lethbridge, Carl Tetachuk made 20 saves. For Moose Jaw, Jadon Joseph scored twice, singles came from Eric Alarie and Owen Hardy, Bailey Brkin made 35 saves.
Regina Pats 6, Red Deer Rebels 5 (SO)
Regina outscored Red Deer 3-2 in the deciding shootout, to grab their first win since their season opener. The Pats' Austin Pratt scored his second goal of the game with 15 seconds remaining to force the overtime. Ty Kolle, Austin Pratt and Robbie Holmes also scored for Regina, who got shootout goals from Kolle, Pratt and Zach Wytinck. Danton Belluk made 24 saves. For the Rebels, Cameron Hausinger scored twice, Zak Smith, Ethan Rowland and Dawson Barteaux once each, Hausinger and Brett Davis scored in the shootout. Byron Fancy made 32 saves. Attendance was 3,638 at Westerner Park Centrium.
Kamloops Blazers 2, Kelowna Rockets 1
The Blazers' Zane Franklin scored in the 1st and Max Martin in the 3rd, to offset a Kyle Topping goal for Kelowna, giving Kamloops the win before 4,157 at the Sandman Centre. Dylan Garand made 25 saves for the Blazers, Roman Basran 37 for the Rockets.
Spokane Chiefs 5, Prince George Cougars 2
A 3 goal Spokane 3rd was the difference, before 3,027 at CN Centre. Adam Beckman, Bear Hughes, Michael King, Erik Atchison and Ty Smith scored for the Chiefs, Campbell Arnold made 17 saves. For the Cougars, Josh Maser and Brendan Boyle scored goals, Taylor Gauthier made 33 saves.
Vancouver Giants 4, Swift Current Broncos 3 (SO)
Sergei Alkhimov scored in the ninth round of the shootout to give Vancouver the extra standings point, with 3,934 watching at the Langley Events Centre. Bowen Byram, Cole Shepard and Tristen Nielsen scored in regulation for the Giants, who got a 23 save effort from Trent Miner. For the Broncos, Ben King, Kasper Puutio and Ethan Regnier scored in regulation, Reece Klassen made 36 saves. Lukas Svejkovsky and Shepard scored shootout goals for Vancouver. Regnier and Connor Horning scored shootout goals for the Broncos.
Everett Silvertips 2, Prince Albert Raiders 1 (OT)
The game was scoreless through 40 minutes. Each team scored in the 3rd, then Michal Gut scored at 1:38 of the extra session for Everett, before 5,107 at Angel of The Winds Arena. Gage Goncalves scored for Everett at 3:45 and Ozzy Wiesblatt of Prince Albert at 19:46 scored in regulation. In goal, Dustin Wolf made 30 saves for the Silvertips, Boston Bilous 24 for the Raiders.
Tri-City Americans 3, Seattle Thunderbirds 2 (SO)
Tri-City prevailed in a six round shootout, with 3,478 watching at Toyota Center. Booker Daniel and Connor Bouchard scored in regulation for the Americans, Connor Bruggen-Cate's second goal of the game tied it for Seattle at 14:39 of the 3rd. Krystof Hrabik, Bouchard and Booker Daniel tallied shootout goals for Tri-City, Andrej Kukuca and Zachary Ashton scored in the shootout for the Thunderbirds. In goal, Beck Warm made 35 saves for the Americans, Roddy Ross had 39 for Seattle.
