Guenter Wendt passes away











The legendary pad leader of NASA, Guenter Wendt, has passed away at his home in Merritt Island, Florida. Wendt, made famous in the movie Apollo 13 when Jim Lovell, played by Tom Hanks said: "I vonder where Goonter Vent?" was an important part of the manned space program from NASA's earliest days.
