The Verizon iPhone drops way fewer calls than AT&T's, according to an independent study. In a survey of iPhone users, those on Verizon dropped calls at a 1.8% rate, while those on AT&T lost them 4.8% of the time.

SAN DIEGO -- The Giants' latest setback certainly revolved around Tuesday's third inning. Suggesting that the same inning could have determined the course of their entire trip might be a stretch, a little more than Willie McCovey-sized. But not much.
The latter portion of San Francisco's 3-1 loss to the San Diego Padres in their home opener possessed some redeeming value for the reigning World Series champions. The Giants twice brought the potential go-ahead run to the plate, and relievers Guilllermo Mota and Ramon Ramirez pitched marvelously. But that was almost irrelevant compared to the third inning, Giants manager Bruce Bochy declared.
"That third inning was the turning point of the whole game," Bochy said.

2006 - The trial filed by Apple Corps against Apple Computer concluded. The judge was expected to rended his decision in the following month. The suit was based on a 1991 agreement between the companies that would keep Apple Computer out of the music business. The suit claimed that Apple Computer's iTunes Music Store was in violation of the agreement.
