Tampa, FL. -- The Tampa Bay Lightning will open their milestone 20th National Hockey League season on Saturday, October 13 at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida against their cross-state rivals, the Florida Panthers. The Bolts will kick off their 2012-13 home schedule on Tuesday, October 16 against the New York Islanders at the Tampa Bay Times Forum when captain Vincent Lecavalier is expected to play his 1,000th career NHL game.

Karen Klein, the 68-year-old bus monitor who was cruelly harassed by four middle school students from Greece, New York, appeared on several talk shows Thursday to discuss the incident which occurred this past Monday. Klein said she didn't want to see the kids who tormented her charged with a crime, but still feels they should be punished for their behavior. Loads of money has been donated for her dream vacation.

As if cheating itself isn't bad enough, now science confirms that cheating guys are also less likely to, um, wrap it up before having sex with someone who isn't their partner. In a recent study researchers discovered that when it came to all those cheating hearts out there, 27 to 35 percent don't use a condom. And once you add alcohol to the mix, that statistic turns into a drastic 64 percent.

That female quest to look skinny doesn't seem to simmer with age. New research discovered weight issues were the number one concern for women over 50. Seventy-one percent of the 50+ crowd were concerned about shedding pounds. It's pretty obsessive, too, with 63% of the respondents reporting that they thought about their weight on a daily basis. Eighty percent ranked weight and body shape as a "moderate" to "most important" issue. The most hated body party was the stomach.
