Don't count Kris Jenner out quite yet. Reports of her talk show being "canceled" are false, according to a 20th Television representative. The rep said Wednesday, "It's too early to make a decision." Representatives of the show took to Twitter, as well, to deny Wednesday reports citing sources that said that low ratings during its six-week test run left the show dead in the water.

1959 - In West Derby, Liverpool, at the Casbah Coffee Club, Ken Brown via George Harrison asked John Lennon and Paul McCartney to help out the Les Stewart Quartet when Stewart walks out before a show. The event led to regular Saturday night gig at the Casbah. On October 10th, Ken Brown went his own way.
1966 - The Beatles ended their fourth American tour at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, CA. It turned out that the show was their last public concert.
1986 - BBC1-TV aired the "McCartney" special.
2001 - Cristin Joyce Keleher was released after four months in jail. She had been sentenced to a year of probation for trespassing at the home of George Harrison.
