Prince Albert Raiders 2, Medicine Hat Tigers 0

Brett Leason's 18th goal of the season, coming short handed at 8:58 of the second period, combined with Noah Gregor's 9th of the season at 11:16 of the third, both unassisted, combined with the 43 save goaltending of Ian Scott, powered the Prince Albeert Raiders to a 2-0 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers, before 2,176 at the Art Hauser Centre in Prince Albert. Mads Sogaard shined in goal for the Tigers, making 31 saves. The win is Prince Albert's 11th in a row. The Raiders only loss in 19 games this season came on October 6th 4-3 at Red Deer. Medicine Hat is winless in their last 4.

Tri-City Americans 3, Swift Current Broncos 0

One night after giving up 7 in a loss at Moose Jaw, the Tri-City Americans rebounded for the win at Swift Current. Kyle Olson and Krystof Hrabik scored in the first period, Isaac Johnson into an empty net in the closing moments for the Americans. Beck Warm made 24 saves for his second career WHL shut out. Joel Hofer was solid in goal for the Broncos, making 20 saves, in front of 2,210 at the Innovation Credit Union i-plex in Swift Current. Tri-City is now 8-3 on the road this season, the Broncos are winless in their last four.

Prince George Cougars 4, Kelowna Rockets 3 (OT)

The Cougars scored with 17 seconds left in regulation , then with 6 seconds left in overtime to win. Erik Gardiner staked Kelowna to a 1-0 lead after one, then Prince George took a 2-1 lead after two, on goals by Cole Moberg and Matej Toman. Lane Zablocki and Kyle Topping scored in the third to put Kelowna on top, but Vladislav Mikhalchuk's goal at 19:43 for the Cougars forced the extra session. Just when it looked like the teams were headed for the deciding shootout, Josh Maser found the back of the net at 4:54 of overtime to win it for Prince George, their 5th one-goal win this season. Taylor Gauthier made 28 saves for the Cougars, Roman Basran 29 for the Rockets.

Everett Silvertips 3, Portland Winterhawks 2 (SO)

Everett scored twice in the first, then Portland squared things with a two-goal third period, before the Tips scored twice in the shootout to grab the extra standings point. First period goals for Everett were scored by Connor Dewar and Bryce Kindopp, both on the power play. In the third, Winterhawk goals were scored by Reece Newkirk and Ryan Hughes. Joachim Blichfeld notched a shootout marker for Portland, but Silvertip counters by Dewar and Riley Sutter tipped the scales in favor of Everett. Dustin Wolff made 39 saves to lead Everett to the victory, Shane Farkas had 41 stops for the Winterhawksd. Attendance was 3,346 at Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett.
